Naked Women Defending Human Rights in Prisions


Bogotá, Col, 10/05/2012. One more time, in Colombia, people have to do inusual protests trying to get the attention of authorities about the human rights' violation in colombian prisions. They demand for health, feeding and better conditions for their relatives that are in jail serving sentences. It was a group of 100 women, 10 of them decided to get naked and walked through the center of Bogota.
"We asked (to the government)that  attends this crisis in the prisions,overcrowding, no health, no re-socialization" said spokeswoman Esmeralda Echeverry for the protest and leader of the group, non governmental, called "Prisioneras de Colombia"

The protest was in the City center.



They wanted to cacth the government attention.

It wasn't important cross in front of the church.

The protest ended at front of the Justice Ministry.

Cold weather was't important.

The human rights to prisioners have to be respect.
